General Data Protection Regulation Policy

The data collected, stored and processed is limited to the contact and order details of customers and recipients of orders.

Contact details include names, postal and email addresses, and 'phone numbers.

Order details include type and quantity of product, and delivery service.

Data is provided by customers via the payment processor, PayPal, or by mail, email or 'phone.  Where there is doubt, address details may be checked via publicly available sources such as Royal Mail and Internet search.

Digital data is stored on the computer system of J J Young T/A Old Jake.  Paper-based data is stored at the same address.

The data is used to fulfil orders, contact customers with queries, respond to queries, and notify customers of dispatch of their orders.

Customer data will not be shared with other individuals or organisations other than for fulfilment of orders, answering queries, and as may be required by law.

Contact details are provided to delivery companies in order for them to provide their services.

Paper receipts from Royal Mail state the building number or building name and the post code.  Other delivery companies may provide a paper manifest with full contact details for the recipient.
